Subtropical Sundown, Bonita Beach
The ocean was so calm for this pastoral sunset that I could wade right out, set up the tripod in a couple feet of water, and start shooting. Worry not: from ice to falls down cliffs to volcanic sand and sulfurous steam, the tripod has endured far worse traumas than a little salt water! The sunset would deepen its hues on the horizon, prompting a lens switch to super-zoom and still more grateful appreciation for the blessing of the moment.
