Another warm winter day in the Florida Keys soothes body and spirit, the gentle breeze rustling palm fronds beneath a blend of cumuli and fractocumuli. This is where we had a delicious seafood lunch while the gulls cackled and fish jumped in the mangrove-lined channels of ocean water. That night, we would experience a cold rain and aggravating flight delays forcing an unplanned and sleep-deprived overnight stay in Atlanta. My mind stayed back here, in the Conch Republic. A piece of my soul stays in the Keys always.
