Scottsbluff Bow: South Side
[Part 3 of 3] From the same spot as the previous two photographs, the tiered cloud shelves of the south end of the bow presented themselves in different light than the middle and north parts, without quite as much deep-convective cloud material over them, or as much heavy precipitation behind. Instead, the south edge, at left, shoved a nice little haboob of dust along its way, well-removed from the rain. The Wildcat Hills south of Scottsbluff, of which the famous bluff is a part, line the horizon. After this shot, it was time to go, lest we be overtaken and undertake a preventably intense commuting challenge.
