A wild run of asperatus formations in low to middle levels rippled over the First American Museum and downtown’s Devon Tower, ahead of a strong gust front that dragged a ragged arcus cloud across the city. This weird melange of clouds darkened the skies and the landscape ominously, but fortunately for the populace, only strong but subsevere winds and heavy rain followed.
