Rising across a colorful, textured twilight sky, the waxing moon refracted a partial lunar corona through a passing, rippled cirrostratus undulatus cloud, all while reflecting enchantingly off the Atlantic Ocean surface. Waves crashed across the hard igneous and metamorphic boulders, adding audio to the dazzling visuals, and feathered fringes to this short time exposure. How fortunate and blessed must one be to experience a scene and a moment such as this? I understood and didn’t take it for granted—or granite, in this case.
