Fall-18 Sunrise Tree Sequence 2
[Part 2 of 3] As the wondrous dawn lost its redder hues, but expanded yellows and oranges across a more vertically aligned domain around the Sunrise Tree, I aligned the camera accordingly. It wasn’t until later that I noticed a fortuitous and fortunate aspect of this composition: the standing waves that formed in the middle/upper-level cloud deck, beyond the top of the tree, give the abstract impression that the upper left corner of the tree touched the sky and made it ripple outward. Slight wind motion smudged the leaf-laden water’s surface just a tad. Even in the span of a couple of minutes, this sunrise scene offered such a shift that it might as well have occurred on a different day. That’s the sort of “diversity” I can appreciate: the natural kind! Part 3
